(March 3, 2020 – Washington, DC) The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) endorses Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren as the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States. The organization previously endorsed Sen. Warren several times over the years for her seat in the U.S. Senate, and NWPC believes she is the right candidate to take on President Trump and win.
Sen. Warren is a fighter that knows how to get things done. The trained attorney and former law professor has been on the front lines in the Senate, fighting the current president on issues that are important to women and working families in this country.
“NWPC wholeheartedly endorses Sen. Elizabeth Warren for President of the United States,” said Donna Lent, President, NWPC. “Our organization is committed to working hard to help her get elected, and we stand with her working on those issues that will help turn our country around from the chaos that exists today.”
Warren is a former law professor and consumer advocate. President Obama tapped her to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a federal watchdog agency founded in 2010.
