Who is eligible to apply?
The MWPC Political Action Committee (PAC) provides support to qualified, pro-choice women candidates running for municipal, legislative and statewide offices in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Can I turn in applications late?
The MWPC PAC will not be accepting late applications.
Do I need to apply again if I've been previously endorsed?

Interviews will be 30 minutes and will be with at least two MWPC PAC members.

Endorsements

In which races do you endorse?
We endorse in all races at the local and state level.
Do you endorse in federal races?
The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) PAC endorses in federal races. Once applications have been submitted through the NWPC PAC, candidates are interviewed by the MWPC PAC. The MWPC PAC will then make recommendations to the NWPC PAC for endorsement.
If endorsed, how do you support candidates?
Candidates have received specific assistance, including a toolkit, promotion in regularly scheduled “volunteer call-outs” to the MWPC volunteer listserv, a press release sent to news outlets within your district and across the state, highlight on social media, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts as able.
Are endorsement decisions final?
Yes.
When will I find out my endorsement decision?

Endorsement decisions will be released in July. Candidates will be notified prior to the MWPC PAC’s endorsement announcements.

If I have not been endorsed in the past, can I reapply?
Absolutely.
Does the PAC give feedback to non-endorsed candidates?
The MWPC PAC does not give feedback to candidates.
Endorsements outside the Greater Boston Area
The MWPC has formed committees in the Berkshires, Greater Newburyport, South Shore, and Worcester to ensure a comprehensive strategy to reach, recruit, and encourage women across the state to run for office. Candidates will apply using the MWPC PAC application which will be subsequently routed to our local committees. Our local committees will conduct interviews and submit endorsement recommendations to the MWPC PAC. The MWPC PAC will then make endorsement decisions. Endorsement decisions will not be made outside of the MWPC PAC.
Does the MWPC PAC endorse write-in candidates?

The MWPC PAC unfortunately does not endorse write-in candidates.
