MWPC will be hosting an Emerging Leaders Speaker Series in partnership with Benchmark Strategies. The virtual speaker series will be part of the MWPC Young Professionals Program and will feature Massachusetts women leaders elected to public office who lead and inspire their communities.
There is an art to getting endorsements: learning about the concerns of organizations, listening to their policy positions, and deciding how best to position yourself as a leader. Our friends at the AFL-CIO will talk about the labor movement and how to engage with the many different organizations that fall beneath this umbrella.
TOPIC: STATE & LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS FOR HOUSING SUCCESSS
Co-hosted by MWPC and the Cape Women’s Coalition. We will hear from Senator Susan Moran, Representative Sarah Peake, and moderator Alisa Magnotta of Housing Assistance on Cape Cod.
Our event will bring together the women who moved heaven and earth to make us a part of our public life, and the groundbreaking women who run this state, from Capitol Hill to Beacon Hill.
The Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus is a non partisan organization committed to increasing the number of women elected to public office and appointed to public policy positions.
We seek to civically engage women of all ages in the political process through events, programming, and workshops. Caucus members include a diverse group of women that include the political, health care, biotech, academic, business, corporate, and non profit communities. The MWPC offers programs that strive to increase the interest of women in the political process and helps them to be successful in the political arena.
